The Samoyeds is an all-round dog, with many different
capabilities. The only thing limiting you and your dog is your
imagination.
 | Conformation - I have always enjoyed showing my dogs, for
both the competition and for the lively interactions with my friends.
We share a lot of good times, both on the show grounds and later at

| Obedience - Don't let those smiling faces fool you.
Samoyeds can compete in obedience with the best of them.
Remember to keep a sense of humor, as your Sam will definitely have
one. |
| Sheep Herding - More and more Samoyeds are being found in
the sheep herding arena. Originally used to herd reindeer, as
well as pull sledges, the Samoyeds have retained their natural
instinct for herding. |
| Therapy Work - With their smiling faces and big,
fluffy coats, Samoyeds and their owners share their love at nursing
homes, hospitals and group homes.

| Agility - If you
love having fun and crave action, then agility with your Samoyed may
be your thing. |
